Artist For Peace
WECAM (WE Care About Music) collaborated with Global Deeds to host an event called Artists For Peace held on September 21, 2012 in commemoration of the UN International Day of Peace.
On Friday, September 21, 2012 from 7pm to 10pm the community was invited to celebrate International Day of Peace by enjoying local artists and musicians who performed songs and presented artwork highlighting peace. There were art activities such as peace sign t-shirt decorating offered as well as refreshments. Global Deeds Foundation is located at 45 Lafayette St., Salem, MA., and is handicapped accessible.
Celebrate Local Music
WECAM hosted an event called Celebrate Local Music on April 10, 2013
to benefit the non-profit organization Women Beyond Survival.
On Sunday, April 10, 2013 this fundraiser took place from 12pm to 10pm
at Maddy's Lounge and Grill, located on Route 1 South, Saugus, MA. This event featured fifteen different artists/bands and included an all-you-can-eat Italian buffet from 5-7pm.
Operation Troop Support Fundraiser
WECAM hosted an event called "Master Psychic Denise Fix & Mark Legere's New England Paranormal Investigation Show" on June 22, 2013 to benefit Operation Troop Support.
On Saturday, June 22, 2013 this fundraiser show was held from 4pm to 7pm at Maddy's Lounge and Grill, located on Route 1 South, Saugus, MA. This show featured East Coast Medium and Psychic Denise Fix and Paranormal Investigator Mark Legere. The event also included raffles and all-you-can-eat Chinese food buffet from Kowloons.
Benefit Concert For Steve Ruest
WECAM collaborated with Gary Shane to host a show on March 14, 2015 to benefit Ipswich fire victim Steve Ruest.
On Saturday, March 14th this concert took place from 7pm to 11pm at the VFW located at 19 Bradford St., Rowley, MA. This show featured great music from incredible musicians/bands such as Charlie Farren, The Fools, Gary Shane and the Detours, The Catalinas, David Champagne, The Mockers, Derek Bergman, Paul McQuade, Steve Wah and others. Raffle items and food was included and all proceeds donated to Steve Ruest.
